Well, I have some friends who got the internship in Korea and they are all fluent in Korean. I guess it's pretty much up to your language skill.

한국어를 잘해야 되는것도 맞지만 무엇보다 본인 수업과 인턴십 일정이 겹치면 하기가 어려워요. 특히 대학교 3년차에는 수업이 최고로 많기 때문에 일정 조율이 필요해요. 저는 4학년 때 해보는것을 추천드려요.
