The South Korean government announced that foreign visitors can now submit their arrival cards online up to three days before entry via computer or smartphone.
Previously, travelers had to fill out paper arrival cards at the airport, which immigration officers then scanned manually—a time-consuming process. To improve efficiency and convenience, the Ministry of Justice introduced the electronic arrival card system to speed up immigration procedures.
Both paper and online arrival cards will be accepted until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition. Visitors can submit their electronic arrival cards through www.e-arrivalcard.go.kr.
